York is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Called ahead before bringing in glass for a home project and the woman on the phone was professional and helpful (Stephanie I believe) Unfortunately, the actual in-store experience was enough to ensure I will never return. The older woman at the front counter appeared irritated from the moment we walked in. She was huffing, slamming items around, and acting as though we were an inconvenience. When we asked about turnaround times and expressed surprise at the 6 week wait, her response was essentially that we could take our business to Garrity Glass. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she was having a bad day. Then I returned to pick up the order and witnessed the same behavior again; speaking sharply to employees, storming around the store, cursing under her breath, Slamming the phone down again and creating an atmosphere that was uncomfortable for customers I later called with a simple question and was treated as though I was wasting someoneβs time. Every interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. The most concerning part wasnβt the wait time or pricingβit was watching someone in a customer-facing role repeatedly treat both customers and

Whoever answers the phone for you guys you really might want to consider finding a new person to do that. That lady has awful customer service skills. You'd be better off getting a 5-year-old to answer your phone. She is very rude and nasty and I unpolitely got off of the phone and found a different company to work with. Your loss there gain.

I have been doing business with Browns for many years and the quality and service has always been great however lately there have been many, many, many issues with their customer service and I plan to write a review on Facebook and contact the BBB unless I hear from either the owner Mr. Robert Brown or Vice President Mr. Timothy Kessel. I doubt they are in agreement with the very very poor customer service that is being rendered. Mrs. Denise Johnson

We needed to replace these doors that are about 125 years old. Browns came thru over 5000 dollars less than the competition and did an excellent job on the install. Jess and Nate were the installers and paid close attention to detail so as to minimize any finish work on the inside. Matching up to work that is over a century old is not an easy task and Browns went out of their way to work with our demands and our schedule.
